I got into my car this morning and started it and it just dies so i kept doing it and lone behold it keeps doing it, the only way to keep it going is to keep my foot down a little on the accelerator, anyway drove to town and parked, took my foot of the accelerator then it was idleing fine, whats the go?

 

check your intake piping.

 

nothing was in there, could it be something in the fuel line?also totally off topic but is there a way to exactly match paint without a piantcode?

 

Almost sounded like a vaccum line popped off somewhere, but if it was fine afterwards it can't be that...Did it do it anymore since??


Yeah...If you go down to the paint shop and give them the year and make of your car, if it is a factory color, the code will be in the book. We do it all the time here at the Sikkens company. HTH

 

i forgot to mention this is a custom color, as for my main problem it happened again this morning but i went back out 10 minutes later and it was fine, i checked and tightened the intake hoses and stuff so it might have been that.
