Do you know how many codes there are? No one can tell what it is. Yes go to autozone and pull the code and come back and search what it is and how to fix it.

Get the codes pulled, see what they are and if the cause isn't immediately obvious, then come back, list any would-be mods and add-ons etc etc along with relevant information and someone will probably be able to figure it out.

the kid asked what the code was
either dirty manifold causes this or the car needs a new sensor which is pricey

I had a forge vta valve on (FMDV004 dual piston) and my service enine light would come on, then go off, then come on, off, etc... then I put on the APS BOV today and its not on anymore. I think hksevoix is right, evo's just don't like vta's.

At least you're aware that ricer mod is bad for the car. Just junk the whole thing and get a stock evo ix bov and recirculate it.

wasn't trying to flame you, just stating facts and my similar experience. and you're absolutely right, everyone has their own opinion and they're entitled to it. good luck
