sticky shifting

I just bought my new IX se and when I shift it feels an little sticky and kind of makes an clunk sound is that just because its new and not broke or is there something wrong

the clunk is probobly your rear diff,

i know what you mean, in my case the 2nd and 1st gears are kinda hard to get in gear most-times, my problem has been since day one got 2k on the car and still have the prob who knows, its under warranty ill take her back it gets worst

Transmission fluid is probably not warmed up yet, and the car is still being broken in. Mine had a slight clunk in some gears, but got better after about 750 miles and when the car is fully warmed up.

Mine clunked too, as already stated probably the rear dif. Just be easy on it through the break-in period.
