I think the crappy plastic bov is going to leak and im looking for a new one. im thinking of getting the jdm MR, or Forge Direct Replacement BOV. whice one is can hold more boost?

 

Don't the stock ones hold to 25psi? Get the FOrge, that is what I have, no issues. I think your stocker would hold up with hust adding those mods.

 

i thought the stock plastic one lstarts to eaks at like 15 psi, what forge one do you have btw

The silver one......... I don't know what "Kind" it is, the one AMS sells. Had it for 3 years, red spring, no problems at all.

 

Evo IX or MR... My plastic OE one leaked past 18lbs. Got one off a IX for $75, holds 22lbs all day, no issues.

 

Ams dosnt sell a forge bov. anyway what is the diffrences inthe 3 springs they give you

 

Light to stiff, low to high boost. I always had the red one in there. I bought mine new from AMS a couple years back.
