Intake before Tune?

Last Saturday I had a TBE and MBC installed. This Saturday I'm having it tuned by Sean Ivey. I figured that I might as well upgrade the intake before the tune, so I purchased a basic intake. I picked up at kit that includes a K&N Cone fitler and the necessary hardware to attach it directly to the stock inlet hose and MAF sensor.

I don't know if I should install the filter before the tune. I would only drive on it for about 1.5 hours (mostly on the jersey turnpike ). I'd kind of feel wierd paying a shop to install an air filter.

My only real question is this: Can I install the air filter before I leave for the dirty jerz?

Perhaps leave early then install it in the parking lot before you get it tuned.

Sounds odd but it works.

Intake with MAS adapter will do no harm to your car.
