How do I mount the front plate/bracket on an evo8?

I just got my plate bracket for the front and it goes on there funky as hell. Anybody have a pic or something? Sounds dumb I know but I figured I'd ask people that have done it before.

I must be missing a bracket or something, all I have is a plastic cover with two square license plate mounting holes, two big oblong holes and a small round hole in the middle. pn mn126768

That's all the mounting plate is,one solid piece of plastic. It has two holes on the top and one in the center, just like the rubber grommets show on the bumper.

I'd feel awful stupid going there to have a plate bracket put on.

I found these pics and I guess it's supposed to be a whole kit to put the damn thing on. All I have is the big plastic peice.
