is the ride quality as far as road noise, creaks, and sqweaks, any different than a gsr? should be a straight forward answer.

Wasn't that big to me. If you have an exhaust on your car, it actually sounds much nicer without the padding. Depends on your performance level and how much confort you want to sacrifice.

oh ok, but the build quality as far as a creaks in the car isnt any different. because i like how the gsr feels really tight, even on a bumpy road. in other words the rs isnt a "rattle trap" right?

The noise is the only issue with the RS. Install some sound deadning on the floor boards and trunk, problem solved.

That would kinda defeat the purpose of buying the stripped down light weight RS version. That dynomat is heavy, if that was the case you might as well just buy the VIII or IX and call it a day.

The 50-75lbs of weight is more then offset by the mods in my car. 100lbs +/- = around 1 tenth in the 1/4 mile. If my car was a daily driver I would agree.
