Just bought my first EVO
Hello everyone. I just wanted to drop a post on my new ride. It's my first evo and I'm very excited. I bought it from a customer of mine(I work at a local dealership). It's a White 2006 Evo IX MR. with only 5300 miles.
Here is the list of all the mods that were done by the previous owner.
-Perrin 3 inch turbo back exhaust with test pipe.
-Vishnu v400 ecm flash
-Perrin FMIC
-Cusco titanium front strut bar
-GT spec. rear strut bar and trunk brace
-Perrin rear sway bar
-Stainless steel brake lines with hawk pads
The car is unbelievable and I love it. Are there any maintenance items that need to be taken care of in the near future?
Thanks,
Mike

Actually the previous owner changed the oil with redline synt. at 2500 miles and then again at 5000 miles. He bought it new from the dealer in Nov. 2006 I don't have any pictures of it yet but will post them when I do. I payed 30.5k for the car with all the mods, all the stock parts,a set of brand new Blizzak snow tires, shop manual on cd rom and electrical and maintenance notebooks from the factory.
I emailed Vishnu and asked about reliability and power. They posted back and stated with what I had I have roughly 400 to the crank. The ecm was flashed for this setup so I should be ok.
No I am not planning on buying any more evo's at the moment. But you never know what the future holds. One is enough for now!
