Which BOV do you have? If it's the stocker, it may be on backwards. Mine, as well as many otehrs, were installed backwards from the factory. Do a search for it.

well generally when my car is cold (just turned on and not fully warmed up) it will flutter but once im at regular operating temps its fine guess cause heat in the engine bay weakens up the spring. But u could be fluttering cause ur bov is tightend to much.
also the greddy s is famous for flutter cause of the double springs it has

Please tell us at what rpm and boost level you are experiencing this event.

That will help us understand your issue.

when i put my intake on i have the same thing when i baby the gas pedal during cruise. its nothing major.....just an excuse for me to get a new BOV i know that.............lol i think its just a matter or being able to hear it more and with a new intake (especially hard piped intake) you have more free flowing air.

Hey Brad, I know you have the APS as well. For me, I experience flutter between 2-3K under low boost (around 5psi).

Any ideas?

As long as it is not causing the car to buck then you are ok.

I've had the same flutter with no issues.

The only other thing I have heard about our APS units is that we need to put some teflon tape around the adjustment screw to keep it from leaking there.

Other than that, I love this bov.

I hope that helps.

Yeah, I'll have to monitor it a little closer next time and report back. I didn't know that about the adjustment screw. I'll have to look into that as well.

Thx!

we are not getting all the info here. Does this flutter only happen in 4th and 5th gear? Is it worse under sustained load, like going up a hill in 5th at around 8psi of boost then letting off? Or is it a constant flutter at partial throttle acceleration particularly in 4th and 5th gear? If that is the case, do you have a MBC and if so is it connected to the turbo/licp like stock or to the bov line or another source after the TB. I had and fixed my flutter issue a while back and now it is gone (or at least not noticeable with my APS bov and APS intake). Maybe I can help...
