Evo as a DD.

I am 99.9% sure that this has been covered numerous times but i couldnt find anything WITH the search, so please dont flame me. I am looking into getting a evolution 9 and I am currently wondering what some of the things are that I should know beforehand as far as maintenance goes.
I am asking because it is a turbocharged car and it is a mitsu(im coming from dsm's). Is there any extra maintenance that goes along with these cars in addition to oil changes, etc.
thanks.

Nice, yea this is what I thought but I was reading a few other boards that said that the evo took more maintenance than the usual car, so I had to ask.

It doesn't take more maintenance than another car... It takes more expensive maintenance.

If you plan on doing track days and the like, find yourself a spare set of wheels and get some decent all-weather tires for it so you're not burning through expensive tires quickly, and invest in oil analysis from Blackstone to look at extending your oil change intervals.

well if it's a DD then you'll be fine. and as long as you're doing basic maintenance yourself and following the schedule then you'll be fine.

I bought my Evo so I could go down to 1 car instead of owning 2.
