Limit The Engine?
why do you care if he is rich or not?.......are you a poor kid? who is stressed out with your evo payment. If he or his parents can afford a lamborgini for him and he understands how to drive it than let it be. Do you wanna be rich? I do...To the OP good luck with the car my friend and you dont need any wooded blocks or less boost if you are asking questions like this on a public forum...just go with your gut and have fun.
so i love my parents even if were poor or rich. and i guess. depends if ur matured enough..
are you stressed out on your payments.??
It looks like you have a good head on your shoulders, if you have the foresight to ask a question like this. I know someone else said it but, the best thing you can do is get the car and have your dad go with you to the track. This is the best place to get a feel for the car and to scare the crap out of your self, by doing this you will understand the limits of the car and be able to handle it on the street. If you spend a day at the track you will realize the car is very easy to drive and control at speed. Also if you are able to handle the power of the Sti the EVO will not be a problem for you. Sti's are more difficult to drive and take more work to control. I think that by being as concerned as you are, you don’t need to limit the power, with the proper coaching from your dad and enough seat time you will be driving the car like a pro.
Another Idea:
Have you considered getting a used EVO 8 or 9 this would be cheaper and they are a know platform. Others may disagree with me but I am always skeptical of a brand new design when they first come out. We don’t know what recalls or problems the 4B11 might or will have not to mention the new paddle shifter transmission in the MR. Maybe I am just a worry wart but I waited until 05 to buy my EVO 8, only because that gave Mitsubishi two years to figure out the U.S spec cars and make any necessary changes.
Best of luck to you, enjoy what ever car you decide to get.
