ok, I went to the court and asked about what I can do for the ticket and the guy told me that it's not a fix up ticket. It is mandatory to be appeared on court. So, there is no way I can pay the fine and escape it. But one more question though, do they have to put my car on a machine to do the smog? My car is lowered, will it be any issues get on the machine if there is any?

 

There is no four wheel dynos for smog check in SD. They will do a vision and tail sniffer. Good luck.

 

Oh well, I am thinking the same thing too. They don't have a 4WD machine to do the smog. As for my Tomei Manifold, the shape looks exactly the same as the stock one and my tomei manifold is wrapped as well. I can even put my stock heat shield on it. The problem is will it possible to pass the smog if I changed everything back to stock except leaving the tomei manifold and o2 on the car. Any inputs would help. Thanks. P.S. If I failed the first smog, is there any chance I can do a second one?

 

ok, today I went to the police department try to sign off another citation on the same ticket. It says "Modified Headlights" but checked the box "No" on correctable. The lady in the police department told me that it can't be sign off by any officers and I have to wait for a letter to see what I can do. But it's already 3 weeks and no letter comes in my mail box. Is there anyone has the same experience with me coz I have no clue what do I have to do.
