You need a flash to change your stationary revs, search in Community Forums,Evo Engine Management / Tuning Forums!

You can flash, but there is also a connector you can pull if you want. It is near the top of the clutch pedal, but make sure it is the correct one.

Why do you want to get rid of the launch control?

Dont turn it off, just raise it, it is a good safety feature.

If you get a tune (flash) you can have the tuner increse the SRL to about 6000, that is what I have seen with the guys on here that drag race. They say 6000-6200 is the sweet spot for the perfect launch.

Flash it with the stationary launch rpm higher than the normal rev limiter. This will turn it off.

Most people put it at 6K for dragstrip launching.

6000 rpms.....pffft! I used to drop the clutch at 7k with a ACT 2600 in my old eclipse when i got pissed off at it. Then I would get out and punch it in the passenger side headlight and tell it it was an ugly ***** and that it was lucky that I put up with its ****.
