Do not own an EVO. I know you guys are gonna jump all over me for this, but I drive the enemy's car. Ths STi. Before you guys start, I just want to say I looked at the evo, but "preferred" the suby. In my defense, I did try to test drive the evo, but the dealers would have none of it since my credit was horrible. It just made me want the suby more after that. I do like the Evo, but I would have definatly purchased the 7 over the 8. But anyway, I just wanted to say hi. If there are any Evo's in the Worcester, MA area I'd love to meet up and check your ride!

People here are pretty friendly with people no matter what car you drive. There are plenty of Subaru owners on this board. So welcome! hehe

Hey man, I'm trying to sell my 99 Si, but pumpdog720 is right. It's all about import fun and comrade. Your Sti is also a GREAT ride and typically outruns a stock Evo in the 1/4, but of course, the Evo is typically faster around the track.

As I've heard and read and driven many times, the Sti vs. Evo battle is like splitting hairs...just choose what fits your preferences. You really can't go wrong with either machine.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the welcome. I'm new to the 4-cylinders. I used to have a 96 z28 before this car. I smashed that car up pretty good. Now I decided to go with a more practial car.....well....at least one i can drive in the snow easier. I look forward to chatting about turbo cars! Oh yeah, now all honda driver are punks you gotta remeber that too! I have a friend who's no punk, he can drive well even though he's WAY under powered! Thanks agian for the welcome!

Hey Scott. I definatly like the suby over my z28, but I miss having the will to burnout at will. The suby handles MUCH better. I'm starting to like the turbo over the NA. I'll definatly have to roll with you sometime. Do you go to the tracks at all? I was kinda interested in going, but have never been. All my friends have f-bodies, so they are down with NE Drag. I'm looking for either drag or auto, but not sure yet. This is my daily driver so I don't want to kill it! What color is your evo? I've seen a silver one in Fitchburg/Loeminister.
