Anytime you add HP you add more stress to the motor. Esp bearings. This is def where the oil will break down faster. Stick with a good oil and this will not be an issue.

Back to the running rich or not burning off the meth, it will wash out the cylinder walls and rings. Causing some serious wear/damage.
Thank you, I was waiting for someone to say this. If the meth kit is set up with the proper nozzle and pump pressure and the car is tuned correctly, there is no reason for thinned out oil or any other problem. I have been running a meth kit for over 2 years now (although its not an evo), and am making great power with great reliability for a stock 2valve gt shortblock. My car does not smoke or burn excessive oil with about 30k miles with meth at over 400whp.
