Two totally different cars man. maybe you should try to test drive both and maybe do a little searching here.

I did not drive it. Not trying to be smart here, but I'm not sure how to define " TRUE EVO". The EVO's are super handling monsters from the factory. That's how I define mine. And the X is supposedly superior to the IX in that department. I don't see the EVO as being a drag car. Will it be tuner friendly and make power as easy as the IX, again, only time will tell. A few bolt-ons= 300+ HP car which can outhandle most cars on the planet + decent gas mileage. That's what atrracted me to th EVO. If I wanted a drag car, I would have bought a Supra. Again, not trying to be a smart ***. I just wanted to give u some insight to my thought process when I bought this car. I'm still gonna buy a Supra. God willing, I'll be able to the Evo as well.
