should or shouldn't

I'm looking for an evo and found one in a local town. It's an 05 w/ a evo 9 front bumper with a crack in it. Has 55000 on the dial and also has a scratch on the rear bumper and a door ding, and the clear coat fade on the spoiler. Has had 2 owners and the car is stock. Should I go for it or not. There asking 22,000.

The wing is warrantied, you just have to ask. as for the bumper and other scratches, well worth getting fixed. 22,000 is about average, after my upside down loan I got mine for about 23k a year ago with 37k on it. SSL package. See if you can get them 22k out the door, I would do it.

Where are you in Pa? I think finding a good clean car shouldn't be that hard around here. I would try to find one you really like. Getting them out the door @$22K is gonna be hard.

If it has an Evo IX front end I would check for possible evidence of crash damage. Keep looking around unless you have your heart set on it. You can probably find a lower mileage one for the same amount of money.

A clean report is good - at least it's not a salvage or flood. However, not all damages will be on the report. Especially minor accidents where a police report was never filed. Just an FYI.

A professional can spot signs of body work - misaligned body panels, overspray, signs of re-installed panel bolts, etc. Could have it checked....

When I go look at it I'm taking a buddy of mine who works at a dealership and he's gonna give it a good walk around. The report said that there where two owners one for 2yrs 2mnths, and the other for 8mnths.
