What makes torque??

I have an extensive mod list. But i was wondering why my car lacks torque. What parts need to be added to make more torque rather than horsepower?

Mods-
Buschur TBE w/ cat
Buschur Intake
Lower ICP
Cosworth Cams
Walbro Pump
Buschur MBC
Ported Ex Mani
Ported Int Mani
Ported T. Body
S.S. O2 Housing
Buschur Reflash

Torque- 310 @ 3300rpm Horsepower- 340 @ 6700rpm (Buschur's Mustang Dyno)

Are those numbers from DB's MD.

More boost or timing will get your torque numbers up.

In the simplest sense, power and gearing.

more timing than boost. Timing is where the power is at. I also see that you dont have an intercooler.

more boost = more torque... bump up the boost a few psi and youll see some more torque.

Torque comes from America, and high rev-ing HP comes from Japan...
If you want some torque, head to detroit Michigan... that stuff is all over the place up there!

that's probably one of the most vague and diluted forum response I've read. Boost versus timing in regards to torque increases is such voodoo. I'm sure each tuner has their own methods of extracting push over pull.

it's basically as simple as that.. gearing has a big thing to do with your torque vs. your gearing for top end. Also displacement as well.

Isn't adding alcohol injection supposed to do wonders for torque as well? From some of the (admittedly, little) research I've done, one of the big draws for meth is a huge increase in torque.
