new evo 9 mr owner
actually the move from the sti to the s2k was a weird situation. i am in the military and moving up here to utah that was the first thing that i noticed, was how many suby and evo owners there were. i wanted something different. then the winter hit and i realized how much i missed driving in the snow with an all wheel drive car. i had a winter car (92 subaru loyale), but it wasnt the same. i have always been a fan of both wrx/sti's and evos and with had having an sti and still having a wrx. the evo was something new and with only 7100 miles on it and getting a great deal i couldnt pass it up. sorry for the HUGE pics.

the only thing i can really say that the sti had over the evo is the over feel and quality of the interior and exterior. the fit and finish by far is won by the subarus. also another thing that i encountered driving this weekend is the steering ratio. its been awhile since ive done this, but i missed judged turning into a parking spot and had to reverse and adjust. other then that. the two cars are very similar and very different at the same time. i am very happy with the move that i made.
The steering ratio is just about perfect. It's the turning radius that sucks, but I agree, that's my biggest long term complaint with the Evo. Your wife's car looks just like my wife's car.
