Turbo XS is pretty loud and has a nice tone to it and AMS exhaust is pretty loud. My buddy with a MR has the AMS exhaust it is pretty loud when gets on it. I have a HKS Hi-Flow catback which is not loud at all. Those two exhaust I have heard and they are pretty loud. Same with a Buschur TBE.

It's all subjective, what's loud and what's not. There are some pretty good youtube clips on different exhausts, but, honestly, there is nothing like hearing them in person. I would suggest that if it’s a possibility for you.

My Works Exhale is pretty quiet at idle and light acceleration as compared to other aftermarket systems. Sounds great under load and just sings at higher revs.

Where in NY are you? Maybe you could hear it in person.

greddy

i heard that and it is quiet unless you get on it. nyc is not too strict because the trucks are loud and the city is loud. long island is kind of crackin down but you wont get pulld over unless you fly by a cop and they can hear. my cuzs catless srt4 got pulled over only when he was going fast but cruizin is cool and he pops it in neutral.

Thanks for starting this, I was wondering the same thing sort of.

I would like to get a TBE but I want one that is not much louder than the stock sound. If that is possible that is. Mainly I do not want to be too loud and definitely not like some of the moded Civics around here.

Also I do not want to wake my son up when backing out of the drive in the mornings at 5:30.

Any suggestions one?

my exhaust is veryy loud. i have

-megan maifold
-ebay o2
-turbo xs down pipe
-helix test pipe
-megan cat-back

i know its a weird combo however there are NO flex sections or resinators. bends are minimal and fitment is well. i suggest if u want loud just make sure there are no resinators like most company's use.
