Whats up, i just got an evo ix mr and want to do minor mods. I am thinking tbe and intake thats about it for the engine. If i do those mods w/out a tune will my car still run good or will there be side effects; and also will I gain hp w/out the tune. I know w/ a tune i'll get much better results. I just want to know if everything will be ok until i can find a place for the tune. I'm kinda new to the tunnig part of things. Thanks

 

from what i hear, you need a tune with a tbe but not a catback. but with a intake, and catback you shouldnt need a tune, but it would help alot and yes you'll gain hp without a tune

 

You should be getting a tune no matter what....it will be the best mod you ever do.....oh and search button is your friend since their are countless threads on starting to mod your car from the beginning.

 

You can add those bolton's your just not going to make alot of power but your feel a difference,when you do the tune it's like night and difference,just make sure if you do the intake get the cone filter with adpater only no in take pipe,because if you do without a tune your going to be stallling.
