Well I did a carfax history report and the car originally didn't come with the wing or the vortex generators. He had those added on by the dealership after he purchased the car. As for launching the car lol, I'm not planning on launching it at all. The last thing I want to throw money at is having to replace my transfer case, or clutch or anything drivetrain related. This is my daily driver so I can't be snapping parts left and right.

I'm the previous owner, and I already talked to him days ago providing all the information regarding the car, aftermarket parts, etc. Some details so there is no confusion here:

I purchased the car brand new in August 2005, it's a 2005 Evo VIII SSL. Covered under warranty all 4 Brembo calipers and wing were replaced due to the well known clearcoat peeling problem. The car DID come with the wing from factory, this is not an RS. I installed an apex silver vortex generator because as you all know this is not standard in any Evo except the MR, and specially in 2005 where the VG was black.

I gave the new owner a list with all aftermarket parts installed in the car, and I'll meet with him next week so I can provide more details, and the original receipts in case he needs them for warranty purposes. The car was custom tuned by Al (Dynoflash) during a trip to West Palm Beach, FL. The clutch is stock and it's not slipping... yet.

I'm glad the new owner contacted me early last week (or it was the week before?) and told me that he's part of this community, I took good care of my car and I hope you do the same now. I miss the Evo, but I had to move on and get something more refined and at the same time keep the performance section the same or improve it. I decided to trade the Evo in for a 2008 Lexus IS-F, great car.

Well, good luck with the Evo and let me know whenever you have time to meet me so I can give you details about the Clifford alarm and some other things.
