Hello and new X MR

This has been a long time coming for me. I have been reading this forum for years, drooling over the evos and plotting out my future car. I decided that I would not create an account on the forum until I was an evo owner. Today I finally bought a WW Evo X MR, so its time to write up my first post.

Ive put 75 miles on the car since I bought it this AM and all I can say is I'm in love. The car is everything I hoped for and more.

I'll just post one pic of the car here. You can find more in the Evo X WW Show&Shine forum if you're interested.

Thanks, I've got a minor exterior modification thats going to make it look so much better (in my opinion). There is just one thing about the car that I dont like...

It will be here on monday. I'll post an updated pic when i get it on.

I love the X MR. I just wish that they had the same black bits like the GSR's on the front fenders and hood instead of being color-matched. That would be my first minor visual mod.

Congrats on the purchase!

Nice lookin' car man. You must of paid around $40-45 grand for that car. That's a lot of money for an Evo. As long as you're happy...as long as you're happy......

I actually got a pretty good deal. I bought the car at Peter Fuller Mitsubishi in Watertown, MA. The car originally had only the Technology Package, but I wanted the Interior Sport Package. I think it looks good on the MR but not so much on the GSR. Anyway, they gave me that and installed it for free. They also took a good chunk right off the top for price. When I went to pick up the car, they had an evo poster on the wall. I told the guy I liked it and asked if they had any more of them. He told me No, but I could have that one

The deal that they gave me was so good I called another dealership I was talking to when they gave me the price and the other dealership told me there was no way they were going to beat that price and to go and buy the car. He made me promise I'd go to him for oil changes tho.

Heres a pic of the poster:

Oh, and Thanks everyone for the kind words.

....hey....I saw that same poster when I went for my oil change last week for my Evo. I told my wife that I really like that poster also. That X looks awesome in black. By the way, how do you like the new "high-performance" automatic on your MR? How does it feel compared to not driving an "old fashioned" stick shift?
