New EVO 9 owner

Hi all I'd like to introduce myself I just picked up a new to me evo 9 MR.

IT came w/ some kinda ricer fart can on it but its other wise stock. I'm looking for a normal looking exhaust that doesnt come out at an angle that's not droning.

I did some searching but All I could find was mostly threads about how much pwer they get or how little it weights. I need to drop this a few Db. Any advice would be great!

Thanks in advance

Congrats and welcome and get pics up ASAP!

If you want something quiet stay away from buschur, AMS, and ETS. They are all GREAT exhaust systems with great gains and sound good, but they are loud. Look at the JDM exhaust. Most of those are Jasma certified (strict sound requirements in Japan) and still make good gains. I went from my Buschur to an HKS Hi-Power and was very impressed with the drop in dB's, but I think the HKS goes from 2.75in at the cat and goes to 3in. Not a huge difference, but it was a difference none the less.

Just saw you were from the bay area too. Check out norcalevo.net to get in touch with some of the guys there. I'm on that board as well.

Welcome
I got a Buschur Exhaust w/ a Magnaflow Muffler and the Db are not really that bad until really hit the gas and the gains with my set up are pretty good as well.

But again welcome glad to have you aboard. I have an RS though, but love it to death. Have fun with the MR I am sure it is sweeeeet

Need pics!!!!!!!
