defi oil temp gauge

defi oil temp gauge

hi guys I"m having trouble installing my oil temp gauge. well the gaue itself is installed and I'm just not too sure what to do with the sensor or where it connects to. please someone shed some light on this topic for me

You can either install an oil filter adaptor plate or use the stock location of your OP sensor for the stock idiot light. If you use the latter you most likely will need an adaptor to convert it to the thread pitch of the defi sender.

you can also have it hooked up on the oil drain plug. will need to buy a fitting though. the factory evo, "that comes with the gauges," oil temp sensor was wired up to the oil drain plug.

I have also seen T fittings that will allow you to add another sensor in an existing location.

Sure both of those work too, as well as drilling and taping your oil pan.
