Ive been trying to find a list of how many of each model Evo Mitsu made through the years. Anyone ever seen a listing? I wanna know how many RS models rolled out in 2004

 

i wish we knew....i heard a figure of 358 in 06.

 

ya i think in 06 their was like 37x, but for 04 i have no idea. I tried to google it but just came up with old threads from evom, lol.

 

The dealer told me around 400 for 2005. Not sure if that is correct, have not been abel to confirm.

In 06 they imported 358 RS models out of a total of 8201. That's roughly 4.4%. Assuming this percentage of RSs is the same every year, just take 4.4% of the total number for any particular production year.

For the OP's question, the year is 2004, so 4161 x .044 is 183. 183 RS for 2004. Seems a bit low, but this is an educated guess only.

Those figures are based on this data, which was gathered by people more energetic than I:

Production by year for US:

2003 - 4,513
2004 - 4,161
2005 - 4,500 (approx)
2006 (IX) - 8201

For the IX by model:

0358 - Evolution IX RS
3667 - Evolution IX (includes SE editions)
4176 - Evolution IX MR
8201 - Total exported Evolution IX to North America (USA)

 

so i am 1 out of 183 RS owners? thats badass!
