Evo 9; no restriction modding?
Evo 9; no restriction modding?
Admin..give this one a chance (i may have worded my last thread the wrong way).
I just want to hear what kind of mods a hardcore evo enthusiast would do to their car (the car is for track/drag use only and money is not an issue)?
or like someone said on my last thread....how would you go ***** out with your car if you had money and didnt care about street legality laws.

It has to be an Evo? Cuz if all of the above was the case, lord knows I (and most other people) wouldn't buy an Evo if we had limitless money for a track car.
Anyway, your question is still a vague one to be answered even limiting to an Evo. This is what I would do:
Strip the car to nothing but frame. Get a cf Evo body made and put it on the frame, weld in a roll cage, get a steering wheel, gauges (afr, egt, boost, oil press., oil temp, anything else that may concern you), display of some sort for behind the steering wheel (rpm, lap times, mph, the works... had one in our S, but I forgot what it was called), single race seat with 4 or 5 point harness (depending on what you're racing in).
Once you had that it would depend on how/what you were racing. Since I'm a big track racer but non-enduro (means we'll skip some fuel cell system), we'll go there. Continuing:
Small battery and relocate to trunk area. Widebody, 17 or 18" lightweight and STRONG (so no Volks) wheels, largest f-in race slicks you can put on those........
You know what, I keep writing, and really I'd pretty much copy AMS's time attack Evo, or Vesko's SPEED World Challenge Evo. Maybe do a bit more to it (since money isn't an issue, they may have things left out or put cheaper things on) and call it good.
