sup again all, just full of questions today. my lancer is about to hit the 5K mile mark and I wanted to see when you all who have bought your lancers new had your 1st oil change. Do anything special, engine cleaners or anything else that improved performance, engine cleanliness, ya know all that crap. Anyway, just let me know if its time and what i should be lookin to put into her so she'll keep runnin like a champ, Thanks again guys.

 

Mobil1 and a High-End Filter... I use Bosch. You could also go Pennzoil, and register your car on their web site... so long as you maintain the schedule, they will provide a 10-year, 250k mile warranty on the lubricated parts in your engine.

 

Castrol GTX, STP oil filter, one bottle Outlaw engine cleaner. Haven't hit a problem yet. (crosses fingers)
