evoscan and gauges

Hi

I am getting a evo , and on arrival hope to get tuned by mellon right away..................,hence looking/shopping around for products/equipments to mod/log the car,..................so lately i was looking at the lc1 wideband with db gauge, as recommended by mellon at his website............ now do i really need any gauges with it? Cuz i was thinking of getting this EvoScan GPS Navigator (picture below) and it already comes with all the gauges for so many things, even like the boost gauge, for which i just need the controller. I know this products not yet been realesed, but i will wait since i prefer to have minimal gauges in the car, or none if possible. What yall think ? or yall still insist on having gauges for reliability, accuracy etc.....................................

that would work just fine and looks like it may be a nice piece. to log boost via ecu, u would need a evo X map sensor. if not logging by ecu then u will need to tap off one of ur vac lines for ur boost gauge

you can buy the LC-1 without the gauge and log it in evoscan but I don't think it works with the navigator you've pictured. You'd have to send the WB02 signal to the ECU and then log that item with the Navigator. I'm sure it'll be sorted out eventually but it's not right now.
