You don't want to know. You'll all be jealous. It was a silent bid repo and I think that since it was stripped of emblems and there's not many people into evo's around here nobody knew what they had and they were scared to bid. Plus not many people are buying cars right now. It sat for months.
I put in a bid for $22,500 and the bank accepted!!!.. lol@@!. I got a special 2.39% rate for repo and "A" credit. This thing practically fell in my lap and I could not say no. I stole it from them.
I'm not even sure if it's modified or not or to what extent. I suspect the exhaust isn't stock but I'm not sure. I know the wheels and tires aren't. It's also got some extreme turbo systems/english racing stickers on the side back windows. I really don't know many people who would buy an evo and then just put stickers on it without putting any parts on, but then again it does have the stock air cleaner. You'd think if it was upgraded much he would have replaced that. Maybe he swapped out the upgrades before the repo? That's the problem with a repo. You never know.
I did find out that it was owned by an auto detailer and you can tell cause it's super clean. It's obviously a garaged cruiser with only 13K on it. I've almost got mine cleaned out enough to pull her in. A little more work to do tomorrow.
I haven't even really got to drive it. With the weather like it is and those 255/40 street tires on there it is plain not a good idea to drive it. Anything past half throttle breaks all 4 tires loose.
