After 4 years I Started 2 Mod NEED HELP

i started my winter project and promised to finish by Spring, I will buy used and new parts, what parts do you guys recommend on getting NEW and USED.

so i took parts off- exhaust, front bumper, crash bar, fmic, upper and lower ic pipes, air intake, downpipe, cat, turbo, manifold, battery and tray.

where is the fuel pump?

what else should i remove, what else should I do?

Start with the exhaust from the 02 - back. Look around there are some great used deals on this forum.

Good place to start:

This has been covered quite a bit...

...call up some vendors (AMS, BR, ETS...) talk with them.

o2 back means from the o2 housing back to the exhaust tip. aka turboback exhaust (tbe)

if u want some quality stuff. AMS and Buschur racing make some good stuff. I'd go with the BR racing intake, fmic and intercooler piping. exhaust is up to you, you can mix and match to save some money like what im going to do with my exhaust. I have Greddy Ti-C catback and im gonna add an Invidia downpipe and o2 housing and a Perrin High Flow cat. check to see which are compatible cuz not all exhausts can be mixed and matched like Buschur's high flow cat only fits with their turboback/catback setup. You can mix and match intakes as well I believe. also get a walbro 255 fuel pump should be under 100 bucks. for cams it depends u wanna keep it street get either Cosworth or HKS 272 cams for that nice aggressive and lopey idle. I've seen em go for 300-400 used I think im not sure.

and I see u removed ur turbo so im guessing u wanna swap that too? you can't go wrong with an FP green =) and try for one of those mini battery kits if u wanna change the oem battery.

FMIC u don't really need to change its good till around 500hp I believe...but its all on how you wanna spend ur money dude, but sometimes larer fmics can make u lose pressure

my 2 cents lol gl on ur project

p.s. I forgot get a boost controller of some sort. electronic or manual its up to u. search around to see which you would prefer. boost and Air/fuel ratio gauges are a must too especially with those mods

Meh, he should just go with S2's. The S1's are so small, and are really only good until 6500k. I kind of regret going with the s1's over the s2's.
