WHP BHP etc.

Hello Folks

Might be a stupid question

In the swiss evolution forums we have currently a disscusion goin on depending on WHP BHP...

When you US guy talk about WHP (Wheel horse power) does that mean the same as Fly wheel horse power? Or is WHP the power the car lays including drivetrain etc?

Thank you guy and sorry for my crappy english

No flywheel hp is referred to as "at the crank" Wheel (whp) is from a dyno that reads what you would put down on the street, not what the motor puts out.

your english is perfect.

wheel horse power (all wheel horsepower for the evo) is as simple as it sounds. horsepower measured at the wheels --> horsepower converted to useful work measured with a dynamometer
