Help me out here please

Hey guys im new to this EVO forum. Ive actually been researching evos for a very long time and know everything about them... I currently own a 2007 vw gti mkv. Ive chipped it and added an intake, thats it. Im selling my car to a friend. I wanna purchase an 2006 evo 9, ive always dreamed of having one... does anyone know of any evos being sold for under 21k/good condition/semi low miles... Btw i live in Simivalley, CA.... Its either between the evo and sti but i know the evo is a better car, i just love the sound of that sti engine lol but yaa please leat me know asap... thanks guys

21k might be a little on the lower side, you could definitely get an 8 for that though.
I'd say check the cars for sale forum on this site, that's where I bought mine...

Good luck

dont go with the sti, evo ftw!!!! but 21k is gonna be harddddddd to find for a 9... i got lucky and found one for 21 but it was a smaller dealer in BFE that didnt know what he had... but like bryan0 said the best place would be the for sale forums on here

like said above, the only advantage the sti has is a really strong 6 speed, but the gearing sucks for drag racing and its ability to make massive torque, but the motors are real sketchy about staying in one piece. For 21g its going to be much much easier to find an evo8 with lower miles.
Go with the evo, you won't regret it.

Damnn! I just test drove an evo 9 mr at the KIA dealers!! One word... WOW!! The car is insane. but yaa i also test drove a sti at a honda dealer and i thought the evo was a faster car in general and more spacious... I went on www.cars.com and found an evo 9 ix black for 19,990.. with almost 60k miles... How long do these cars last??

At 62,000 it will explode

105k on my car, raced and daily driven. The last as long as you keep putting money in them.

Internet sarcasm > you

See my 2nd statement. The car is fine as long as you spend the money to keep it working 100%.
