Question Evo IX vs. Evo IX MR

I am looking at purchasing my first EVO! I love the EB 06 but it only comes in 5 speed obviously. So I was looking for opinions on EB 06 or TB 06 MR. let me know your thoughts

Can someone please close this thread... seriously there shoudl be a rule in place for all newbies that they have to review "the basics" before being able to post

you say "only comes in 5 speed" like its a bad thing. I've had both and its 6 of one, half dozen of the other. It's just a toss up. If you like the EB color get the 5 speed.

America's foremost Evo tranny specialists are on this forum, if you search you will find more info than you would ever want

The short version is that the 6 is ok as DD/weekend car and I believe autocross, but if you want to do roadracing/trackdays or drag racing get the 5.

I have the 6 and I love my car, but I would track it more often if I have the 5 and did not have to worry about it so much

Thats why its in the EvoM Newbie section. None of this goes toward the post count. You dont have to come here and read the questions or respond to them. Some people who are willing to help out newbies even if the answer to their question are readily available.

I think all the info you would ever need has been posted in this thread, and easily could have been found by using the search button. That's what it is there for, use it. Also, there is a reason there are stickeys that you are requested to read before posting.
