Do I need a recirc kit?

My evo X is being put together as we speak.. my girlfriend bought me the car as well as all the upgrades...

I got the AP garret gt35r twin scroll turbo kit
Kelford stage 2 cams
ARC intercooler
Blitz Nur R spec exhaust
Greddy turbo timer
HKS SSQV BOV

just to name a few do I need a recirculation kit for the turbo or is that unneccessary?

and yes my girlfriend is awesome lol.. just want to give her the credit

No, tuning alone doesn't mean you can vent your bov. You'd have to be running speed density that eliminates the mass airflow sensor.

I would certainly recommend one for drivability purposes. You can run VTA but it will not be smooth.

I would do recur, you lose at least 300-500 rpm if you were to run VTA. Also, the ride isn't as good.
