Really long story short to save time lol, I don't own an evo. Right now I've got a sentra specv, but want turbo. So I just did some researching on the evo's since I've always liked them alot. What I know so far is that if I'm getting one for the power, go 04 and up. The LSD only came on the RS and MR until 2005, and the ACD isn't on the 8 at all. The power difference between the 8 and 9 is some 30 bhp and torque as well. If I'm wrong please correct me, but what I couldn't find were any recalls, or main problems people are having. I'm not 100% turbo mechanic but I know most terms and turbo issues. I guess really what I'm looking for is what I'd be jumping into here with the intent to modify the car. Such as in my car for example, there's this evil little device called a pre-cat. It was inside the first cat conv and had a great habit of exploding in there... This was a huge recall as one could assume. Stuff like this is what I really like to have a handle on before jumpin 15-20k into the next 4 or 5 years lol. So any help, advice, fore warnings and such, are all much appreciated. Thanks guys (and girls).
