Hey guys, I noticed some smoke coming from my exhaust today. It's grey-black, and only happens when i get on it a little. I know this is common with cars running non-stock tuning, from running rich, however, i have stock tuning, and no mods other than a K&N drop in. Just wondering if this is normal for the car to be puffing black smoke under stock tuning? I searched, but did not come up with any info. Thanks in advance

Well hope its nothing major for you. My car shoots out greyish/white smoke well i idle in one spot, hope its just the turbo burning oil, and not rings burning oil, because i use some oil every so often.

depends on what you would consider a lot. Not nearly as much as you would see from a tuned car. but you can see it from the drivers seat looking in the mirrors.

 

Welll evo's rich rich from the factory, could be fuel burning in the cat

 

I have heard that mine blows out a puff of smoke when i really stand on it at launch, but it's got 70K on it. I dont think you should be able to see it from the drivers seat. I also have the K&N and cat back.

Mine blows black smoke ever since i got it, and I am still running stock tune. I have some nice black soot marks on me bumper too!
