$1500 for first mods... what would you get?

So I am going to spend 1500-2000 on some mods for my 1 month old X. I want to get some performance mods and a tune. I'm about 25 mins from CBRD Speedfactory, so I'll probably get a tune there. I don't know what they'll charge me but I'm sure it's not cheap.

So, my question - if you had ~ 1500 to spend on parts - what would you get? Reliability is very important, but I would definitely like more power. Should I get a Boost Gague + EBC? What else? I installed a TWM Shifter + Bushings + Knob this past week. The shifting is much crisper, and the shift knob looks great, but now it's time for a little more go.

Thanks for any responses to the noobest of noob questions.

One of the greatest joys you could experience when it comes to your car is making it yours. Learn about it, read about it, find out what's out there for it, decide what you want out of it, then go for it. Also, the more time you spend learning the less you'll spend wastefully on unnecessary fluff.

A dyno tune, TBE, & UICP will put you close to or over $1500. However, if you're concerned about breaking anything or warranty issues, keep it stock.

TBE>Tune. Should run you about 1500 + Labor to install exhaust if you're lucky.

Any decent shop should be able to work with your budget to help you get the most bang for the buck. Lucky bastard...I wish i had $1500 to blow on mods.. It'd be a fuel pump, TBE, Perrin AP with stage 2 MIVEC map, and a WORKS drop in air filter for me..

I'm going to try to make a trip to CBRD sometime today. I wanna check out their shop and maybe meet a couple of the guys. I also have a few questions that I want to ask... Let the modding begin.
