seems a bit expensive for an rs..only losing $6000 or $7000 in 5 model years and for it to be modified

 

hmmmm yeah seems expensive its an evo 8 rs for 21k thats steep but its big turbo but that also means its been beat on so who knows, might need a clutch engine be bad, gotta go test drive it and get a reputable shop to check it out first for sure!

 

hmm, Can you tell me the diff between teh rs and the gsr ?

 

the rs has the black door handles, black mirrors and its manual everything inside... thats how i tell the difference not sure what else sets it apart

 

If its a good car, that's a decent price. Stock RS's go for around that. IMO, the 05 is the best year. If I were ever to buy another evo it would be an 05 RS.

Have someone from the New England area take a look if you find someone nice enough....in ATL alot of the EVO guys know the cars if you show them a picture and most time know some of the history

 

Since it's from a dealer, don't listen to anything they say about the mods because they probably have no idea what they are.

 

The RS has no ABS, no sound deadening material, manual door locks, windows, no radio (pre wired for radio and speakers), rear body brace, and I believe it has the aluminum roof as well. I think the 05+ Evo VII is the best car out there.

Don’t buy someone’s mistake! Have it gone over by a pro, do a compression test, CARFAX, check the turbo for shaft play, if you can get it away from the dealer take the valve cover off and check the cams for scoring. It's got injectors so it should have a tune if you know someone near you data log it and check for knock. I know I'm missing some stuff but It's a race car expect it to be beat on.
