another new guy with a cobalt ss/sc
Nice of you to join. Just wondering what those put down to the wheels stock on a dynojet? What are you putting down? Cobalts have the weight advantage so its not a bad buy and has that very sleeper look.

Heh I went from an 07 sssc to a 03 evo. Huge upgrade.
Take that 1300 or however much you spend on that TVS, put it into an evo and you'll prolly be well over 400whp. Add in what you spent on supporting mods and your going for over 500 with the evo.
Not hating, just tellin you the thing I considered when I traded.

well depends. evo 8's are cheaper than the 9's. But the problem is that the book value is dropping but the sales are staying in the 20k's. My evo 9 got totaled and i wanted another evo 9. Well my credit union only would give me like 21-22k loan for one. I was looking a clean evo's and low miles so the price was around 26-28k. Didnt want to make up the difference with my own money so i just went with an evo 8 that costed me 23,700 with tax and title.
I have a clean evo 8 and it has the ssl package. But you definitely can find clean ones for low 20's. But, if u do end up looking at them i suggest getting one that doesnt have much aftermarket and lower miles the better.
mine has 50k for an 04 which is pretty good, still on stock clutch (til the winter)
