Trying to learn about all things AWD

Hey. I don't own an Evo. I want one, but can't afford one.

I'm an engineering student at Lawrence Technical University. I'm trying to learn about All-Wheel Drive platforms because Eventually, I want to design my own AWD car based on an existing AWD platform.

I'm Researching both the EVO IX / X platform as well as the Subaru STi platform.

So, any advice, tips, facts, anything would help.

Right now, I drive a chevy lumina. very boring car.

No car is boring if you drive it to and above its limits
