FOR AN EVO!
Hi, sorry the title threw you off...but I'm looking to buy a used evo...maybe an 03 in the next 5 months.
I used to have a '00 civic si, '01 sentra sr20de, chrysler 300c, toyota prius...and now I have a ram 1500. I want to buy a stick shift car because I miss it.
I'm from NJ and if anyone knows anyone selling their used 03 evo...I'll be willing to drop 15k cash by January (is hoping the prices will drop a little). So please let me know!
So in the meantime I will be checking out stuff and probably ask some dumb questions...yes this will be my first turbo auto.
So if you have any advice for me pertaining to buying a used evo, please let me know. Thanks everyone.

Be very careful when selecting a car. I have never seen so many newer cars hacked up/wrecked cars in my life. How people are wrecking them from just driving in the rain boggles my mind.
If possible, try to find someone local to you knows these cars to go with you to look at cars.
Anyway, try to find a well taken care of one. It's hard, but you can find one. Takes some effort though.
One main issue I would look for is the stock clutch. Most have seen numerous hard launches. A clutch job on an AWD can get pretty pricey. Try to find one that has documentation on when the clutch was changed. If the car hasn't had a clutch job yet, try to use that as a bargaining issue.
