2003 Evo 8 - Concerns?

Hey guys!

I recently purchased a 2003 Evo 8 with 26,000 miles for $19,500 with a JGT 500 turbo back exhaust. I absolutely love the car!!! But I've noticed a few things that I'm somewhat concerned about.

When I turn on the heat its luke warm or not even warm at all.

As I'm about to park the car and am idling for 1-2 min to let the turbo cool, it almost seems that the car is about to stall out. It happened today and the oil light flashed quickly then went away. I recently had a oil change with mobile 1 full synthetic.

One last miscellaneous question, when and how often do I use the intercooler spray?

Thanks guys!

Reeve

Oh, almost forgot. A few times I've seen a pool of water beneath my car and I rarely use the air conditioning. Is this just the built up condensation dripping off the car while parked?

try changing your coolant, should solve the heat problem, if not it might be your heater core and what weight oil did you use??

I was gonna say heater core like he said.

If the heat doesnt work well, and it's leaking water...Might be the heater core.

the oil light flashing is common. replace ur oil pressure sensor. there is a bunch of threads on here about it. they are only like 20-30 bucks and found under intake manifold. can be replaced in 20 minutes
