You honda haters seriously have to come to a real tuning shop to see real civics. If any of you come to Pittsburgh I'll take you to my friend's shop and show you what real Hondas, DSMs, NIssans, and Subarus look like. Maybe he'll give you a ride in his turbo'd ITR. Or maybe one of the many cars he's built. The se-r with a sr20det in it that runs 12flats. His 454ss pickup with a rb26dett in it. The civic hatch that is running 20psi and is a daily driver...I could go on all day....

From a tuner's point of view he thinks a lancer is a joke

 

Lancers are cool enono-rides to get from point A to B, but to have a Lancer owner to bash on Hondas and civics just because there are sooo many or people "rice" them out is just stupid, ignorant, and childish.
Being a LAncer forum and all it's cool to dislike anything else that's not Mitsubishi but have some respect. ANother thing is, I think it's quite foolish to put down other cars that are more reliable, faster, and full of much more potential. I'm just glad thats someone agrees with me here (someone who knows cars!)

 

my father used to be friends with a guy who custom built fiber kits for Hondas... he told me himself they were horrable, and not reliable. Hondas are way over produced and no one will ever make me change my thoughts on the issue, i would drive a neon over a honda. I take pride in my Lancer.

I know some honda auto transaxles are junk. But an auto civic is not a good project car, unless your first mod is to do a gsr swap, and put the manual in it

 

Indeed im a n00b because i just started comming to this site, that must mean i know nothing about cars. Not only do i know that Hondas are slow but there also extreamly ugly. I probably see 100 civics a day it makes me cringe with hatred. There disgusting, the new civic is horrable, the old civic is horrable. Every one and there mom tries to pimp out a civic. C'mon what are you thinking? Do you like being with the superior mainstream and seeing 20 cars just like yours on the way to the grocery store?

Whoever told you Honda's are unreliable is kinda of ironic cause he must be the most unreliable source info I've ever heard of....... I love my Lancer but Honda's are fantastic cars...... They squeeze tons of power out of moderatly small engines and have style to boot. My all time favorite car is the Acura/Honda NSX that thing is beautiful!!!!
But saying that a EX Civic is Going to beat a stock Lancer..... under same conditions.....no that's not true Lancer has a better 0-60 time
Same turn though an SI vs OZ....... Si would own it all day....
