What is this above the shocks?

I was looking for Evos to buy and found this image. I am really curious what the block box with wires running to it are for. Is this some kind of remotely adjustable shock/strut setup? Or just a sensor? Just curious. Thanks.

its an adjustable damper
which you can control and change the damper rate while your inside the car to either hard of soft instead of doing it manually

That is so sweet. I have Tokico D-Specs in my 97 Cobra but I hate having to manually adjust it.

I had no idea this was already created. I was actually thinking about making something home brew to actuate the adjustments using a servo.

Makes me even more anxious to sell the Cobra and grab a 2005 Rs.
