Am I the only one???

Ok. I've been happily married for about a year now and me and the wife have a 6 month old son. My wife loves the fact that I am crazy about cars and speed. She is completly fine with it as long as I'm safe and I prioritize where our funds go in the process. My buddy on the the hand is catching hell with his wife, he drives an Evo X, and she wants him to lose the car or she's leaving. I cant be the only one that has a significant other that supports me and my likes/dreams. I just want to know how everyone else feels?

p.s. I told him to just let her walk... keep the car

haha, my girl loves the speed, but hates the price that comes with it. I would seriously reconsider someone who is making you give up a hobby and passion of yours just to appease them.

any women that wants to leave you over a car can bounce seriously UNLESS its hurting the family as a WHOLE financially then i would say you need to rid yourself of the car. that would be the smart thing you can find plenty of women that want men in the sea

My wife loves the cars. We also have four girls who love cars. All of our daughters grew up around show cars so their husbands should have no probs. My wifes Xmas present last year was a SRT-8 Jeep Grand Cherokee. She loves all the go fast toys.

There has to be more to the story.

Yah has to be more to the story- financial problem, or she wants him to get rid of all the toys, because she is jalous. lol. I think women dont have as much hobbies as men :> women can have babies, we cant, thats why we have cars. lol.

If the wife is one of the controlling psycho types who just wants to take things away from your friend to make herself feel powerful, then she should be the one who leaves. On the other hand, if the car needs to leave to help them survive financially then it needs to go.

I have a 3 months old daughter too. My wife at first didn't like my Evo but as time goes, she growing to like it and support me. People are different so in his case, I can't tell him to let his wife walk because it might be a decision that he will later regret. I think they need to sit down and talk about it or maybe see a marriage counselor to get things work out.

Not true bro. Women's hobbie is quite expensive too if you let them. They like to shop and shop

Incorrect sir thats the problem now and days. kids grow up in bad homes etc type deal. If its NOT WORKING dont force it to work as things will just get worse. Walk away and leave it alone and just support your kids the best you can but forcing it is never the issue. sometimes people grow apart its a part of life. Heck maybe he is too childish to her liking or maybe its FINACIAL ISSUES. the evox is not cheap by any means and i have seen/hear alot of people gettting evos on a shoe string budget

my wife loves my evo, and supports me when i wanna do something. We also have a seven year old son and he just loves the car, but hes always talking about how his supra one day will smoke my evo. My daughter just turned one and she wil learn about cars. But modding process is slower since I am married. But thats fine, gotta take care of the family first. And when i can afford a part, im all over it. But we do pretty good with buying parts here and there. But she loves it, especially when she can drive it. Im in iraq, so everyone thinks its her car lol.
