considering a trade in

After seeing an evo8 at streets of willow last week I'm really thinking it's a car I'd like to have.

I'll be doing a lot of searching here to find what I'm looking for.
What I'll be looking for is suspension and HP/tq improvement. If I buy an evo it'll primarily be a track car, so I'll be looking for some track setups. Feel free to point me to anything you think might help me out.

Thanks,
Matt

I think he was refering to road type courses.

Anyway, the good thing about the EVO is how well it handles out of the box. Stock set-up would be good for most weekend warriors. No doubt for the serious racer it could be improved upon. I think some people have had good results going to a slightly larger rear sway bar. Also I hear good things about the TEIN coil overs. Your gonna pay for em though.

As far as TQ/HP. You may wanna search around the vendor forums. They all seem to have their own philosiphy. Best thing to do is figure out what their offering and decide what works best for you.

nope, as I said I saw one at streets of willow, which is a Road course adjacent to the Famous Willow Springs, drag racing is not my thing

That's exactly why I'm thinking of an EVO, it's track ready, unlike my RSX which is going to cost a ton to get the power I want out of it. I've already got my suspension built very well though. I have Tein's on there now and they've been great for me.
