Hey im a noobie at evos and was wondering if i can get some advice about this car. I wont buy it unless they negotiate to around 19000. Any comments would greatly be appreciated. The only thing im worried about is the rusted exhaust/turbo manifold.

Overpriced IMO.

It has some minor mods, but who know what has truly been done. I would suggest getting a carfax to check for accidents.

 

Its hard to tell how much rust there is but it doesnt look like a lot. the exhaust manifold heat shield has a lil rust on the bolts or thats just the heat causing that. but its definately gonna need a new air filter! looks like someone tried to show that one up there ***. Other than that it looks nice.

 

Price seems too high for it's mileage, even at 19k. You can find better options

 

If i was to buy it should i replace the manifold . Cause it just looks so bad i would be embarresed to show people my engine bay lol

 

And yes i no it has a lot of miles im not going to even consider it unless they throw in some sort of warranty

 

It looks good but how does it run? And that engine bay is really dirty have them replace your intake and clean that bay if possible.

 

Any other comments? And it drives smooth but im just nervious about the high mileage

 

exhaust manifold looks normal. You could always send it out for ceramic coating.

 

Yeah I think the exh manny looks ok. I would defintely replace the air filter like many said. You'll eventually send your exhaust manifold to get ported/coated, unless you a buy a new one altogether.

As far as the price is, I think it's too high.

 

Try to get something in the $18k range. It IS a IX, but still, it has almost double what my IX SE has, which is a daily-driven car. Plus look at the wheels, the black paint is chipping off.

 

i just kelly blue book the car and the price is dead on if it was in excellent condition. I would test drive it (probably won't let you unless your REALLY serious).

 

price is different everywhere, as for here? a little overpriced,-

I'm not impressed with the price or the miles. There are many deals to be had if you search around some more.

The interior looks great though, but the hood and those rims make me want to vomit (just my opinion though).

That dash looks custom sueded with lancer and evo under the suede. Kind of tight I must say!

 

no offence taken but seriously ive been looking for weeks and havnt found any good deals . Kinda getting desperate lol
