racing stripes evo 8

anyone have any opinions on these cars? anything i should look closer at? anything you guys can think of lemme know!

 

First one has unknow mod list. Try to get a list... then we can base it from there.
The second one looks good. Lots of mods... which mean it can be good or bad. Have to do good inspections on the engine, checking for leaks, compression, etc. Also on the drivetrain ( Clutch, Axles, TC, Tranny).
Last one, LOL. It's been for sale so long. No.

 

thats true the the first evo 8 is unknown mod, find out more info. the price on that car is pretty pricey for a 8. must have some serious mods. the second evo is pretty nice but more pix. the last one, i hate to say it but the stripes looks liked of wack, but its up to you.

 

thanks guys, i emailed the first 2 guys and threw away the second cause of the stripes...
ill post what they reply with when i receive the emails.

 

ok so i got an email from the guy that had the engine rebuilt and this is wat he said..."The motor was completley replace with a brand new crate Evo 8 motor. Which was installed by max Madson Mitsubishi. Transmission is still the same but there is no slipping. The clutch is a stage 2 act clutch and lightened flywheel."

 

any opinions on this vehicle?

One word. PAPERWORK. If he can prove it, then you should be good to go. Sounds like a solid deal. If not, then stay away. I would carfax it and just keep asking questions.
