going to install an evo 9 front bumper on my evo8 just wondering if there was
any additional hardware needed for this install? If so what is needed?

if i remember right you need an evo 9 bumper support also. do a search thats where i came across it.

 

hey i have a 8 with a 9 bumper. it bolted up with not a single issues.

 

yea you shouldnt run into any problems installing this right onto your car with stock 8 hardware.

has anyone tried to place an evo 9 bumper WITH the bumper evo 8 support?

 

The 8 and 9 use the same crash beam (support).

As for the 9 bumper, there's many parts that are required to make it a complete bumper. All the grills and grill supports add up pretty quick. I found this out the hard way doing mine. I finally bought a complete Evo 9 bumper someone was selling locally.

it sure does have alot of part and finding the grille/mesh for it is impossible. mine still isnt complete
